It's our flagship class: Improv 101 is designed for anyone taking their first steps into the world of improvisation. Re-discover a sense of spontaneous play. Over five weeks, you’ll learn how to vastly boost your creativity, tell engaging stories and harness the power of presence.
Improv 101: Learning to Play consists of 5 weekly 3-hour classes, covering the basics of improv theatre. Learn the fundamentals of improv theatre in a fun, structured way with us! We’ll be covering the basics, including how to make that first step onto the stage, getting right into the creative process with your partners and building an entire environment from nothing at all. Learn how to get an audience engaged in your story without ever touching a script! Previous students have gone on to join the Company and perform with us. Others bring the skills they’ve learnt into their lives, their workplaces and their homes. Come and learn just how incredible a simple, “Yes, and!” can be!
The whole course costs SGD300 but you're eligible for discounts if you're an early bird, student, referral, or NSF. We encourage you to sign up early as classes can fill up weeks ahead of time.
The next cycle of Improv 101 classes will begin in the second week of February 2017 - you can choose between a weekly Wednesday, Friday or Saturday class!
- A 10% early-bird discount is available if you sign up by 30 Jan 2017 (Mon).
- A 20% discount is available for students and NSFs.
- A 10% referral discount is also available (for both you and your friend) if you rope your friend(s) into joining the Improv 101 course with you.
